The mission of the Department of Campus Safety and Emergency Management is to ensure
that UTHSC colleges and departments maintain a safe, environmentally responsible institution
where students, staff and visitors can learn, work and study.
Health and safety professionals within the department respond to concerns and help
UTHSC colleges and departments maintain health, safety and environmental management
programs necessary to support their mission and operations.
