Product Management
The BPS Product Management team was designed to:
- Provide a holistic approach to managing the technology of UT Health Science Center’s
tools to:
- Move towards SaaS/PaaS to align with Cloud business strategy
- Ensure current versions are installed in a timely manner
- Ensure authentication methods meet standards
- Ensure updates, backups, disaster recovery, etc. are being performed
- Ensure contract supports all technical needs
- Monitor vendor Service Level Agreement (SLAs)
- Participate in the full product life cycle, from acquisition to retirement, by:
- Partnering with Campus Customer and Procurement/Contracts to ensure vendor agreements include all technology elements and meet UT Health Science Center ITS standards
- Collaborating with Campus Customers and vendors to remedy gaps
- Support the functional teams, so they can use their software in a safe and secure manner, all while protecting UT Health Science Center data, systems and network
